Formed in 2026, Duo Dissonancio reflects a shared approach to music-making rooted in listening, collaboration, and the careful shaping of sound. Bringing together the warmth of the guitar and the clarity of the harpsichord, the duo explores a unique meeting of resonance and light.Our repertoire spans a wide range of styles and influences, where Baroque echoes, folk traditions, and contemporary voices intertwine. Through this uncommon pairing, Duo Dissonancio continues to discover new repertoire and creative possibilities, inviting audiences into a sound world that is intimate, vivid, and quietly unexpected.

Classical guitarist and composer Dr. Chulyoung Park is based in Tempe, Arizona. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Classical Guitar from Arizona State University, where he studied with Dr. Martha Masters and Jiji and served as a teaching assistant. Originally from South Korea, he earned his Master of Music in Classical Guitar Performance from Lee University, studying under Charlie Edholm. Rooted in classical tradition and shaped through diverse musical experiences, his artistic voice continues to evolve across different styles and settings.Keyboard performer Soyoung Lim holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Lee University, where she studied with Dr. Jonathan (Joong Han) Jung as a full-scholarship recipient. An award-winning pianist, she received the Grand Prize at the 31st National Students Music Competition, the Gold Prize at the 15th Busan Duo Music Competition, and won the Lee Concerto Competition twice, performing as a soloist with the Lee University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Robert Bernhardt. In recognition of her academic and artistic excellence, she was inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda, the national music honor society. Her musical approach is grounded in precision, physical awareness, and a refined sense of touch.
